"Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Guillen.

Alex, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up in a household surrounded by music, I was exposed to a variety of music styes and genres. My dad was somewhat of an audiophile at the time so we always had the latest super high-end sound system with a huge music library ranging from Bach to The Beatles to Jazz and early electronic music. My dad also showed me how to play the Spanish guitar which I would play for countless hours almost every day.

Eventually, I was good enough to start booking some gigs performing at local art spaces and coffee houses for tips. After a while people started coming up to me asking me to play for their private parties which pays a lot more. Pretty soon I developed a solid professional reputation and started to get referrals for other lucrative bookings as well."
